A special gift for you

First of all, I sincerely wish you a speedy recovery, strength, and good health.

You have received this gift from someone who is thinking of you and wishing you health and recovery. That alone makes this gift special. Sometimes support is not only found in words, but also in a small gesture of genuine care and attention.

Here you can comfortably read about what black seed is, how it can be used, and what to keep in mind.

What is black seed?

Black seed — also known as habba sawda, black seed, or Nigella sativa — consists of small black seeds that have been used for thousands of years in various cultures and traditions.
Its history dates back to the time of the Pharaohs, who even took it into their tombs, and to the Prophet Muhammad
(peace be upon him) who said about it: "In this black seed there is healing for every disease except death."

The oil is pressed from these seeds and is known for its strong, spicy taste and unique properties.

The oil is:

  • fresh cold-pressed
  • unrefined
  • without additives
  • made from Nigella sativa seeds

This helps preserve its natural properties as much as possible.

How do you use black seed oil?

Internal use

For normal daily intake we recommend shaking the bottle before use and taking:
  - one to a maximum of 2 (small) teaspoons of black seed oil per day.
  - or between 3 and 5 grams of black seed per day.

Before use, the black seed oil or the seeds can be mixed with a cold drink such as orange juice or yogurt. Please note that black seed should not be mixed with boiling drinks, as high temperatures may negatively affect its active components. As a guideline, the temperature of the drink should not exceed approximately 40 degrees Celsius.
The seeds can also be mixed with warm or cold food. You can even use the seeds as a spice in vegetable or meat dishes.

External use

Black seed oil can be applied to the skin. In addition, black seed oil is highly suitable as a massage oil or as a soothing addition to a bath. The amount used is not fixed, since black seed oil does not absorb immediately, making it easy to notice when the skin has absorbed enough.

Shelf life

Black seed oil generally has a shelf life of two years. However, this does not mean the oil becomes unusable after two years. The oil remains usable but gradually loses some of its beneficial properties over time.
The black seed oil we sell is freshly pressed. This allows you to safely store and consume the oil for up to two years. For assurance, you can find the 'best before' date on the back of the bottle.

Storage

The oil may be stored at room temperature in a dark place without major temperature fluctuations (such as a kitchen cabinet). Refrigeration is allowed, but note that the oil may thicken and partially solidify.

Please note! Shake well before use to mix the natural sediment through the oil. This oil naturally contains sediment, and shaking helps redistribute it. When stored in a cold environment, the oil may solidify. You can make it liquid again by gently warming the bottle au bain-marie (in warm water). It is important that the temperature stays below 40 degrees Celsius.

Important to know

Black seed is not a medicine and does not replace medical treatment or advice from a doctor. In case of illness, pregnancy, medication use, or doubt, we always recommend consulting a doctor or specialist.

Listen carefully to your body and do not force anything. Rest, nutrition, hydration, and recovery remain the most important things.
